J Kara Women's Flowy V-Neck 3/4 Sleeve Midi Dress for Casual Wear, Office & Special Occasions

Bought this in a frantic last-minute effort to find something I loved for my son’s wedding, and am so grateful I did. It was beautiful. I had compliments all evening. I did have to have someone help cut a few inches off the outer layer of the skirt, then for the sake of time she “seared” the edge with a flame so it wouldn’t fray. Without trimming like that I couldn’t have worn it. I’m 5’6” and there were inches of fabric pooling on the floor. I’m sort of between sizes 16 and 18, so chose 18 to be safe. I do wish I had ordered the 16…I wouldn’t say it runs a full size large, but if you’re in between sizes, I’d recommend ordering the smaller size. In hindsight, I should have ordered both and returned one, but for some reason I didn’t think of it. The bead work did get a bit rough on my arms from rubbing along the sides of the dress, and some parts of the dress do look a bit worn. But, if you’re looking for something beautiful to get you through a one-time event, I would recommend this dress. I didn’t have any issue with losing beads, as I read other reviewers did, and really loved the dress.Body skimming and not clingy. Perfect for a mature woman’s body.True to size, I had to try 4 other gowns before I decided to keep this one. Perfect color for Mother of the Groom formal wedding. Bridesmaids & Mother of the Bride are wearing black.This dress was comfortable and fit well. I only had to have it hemmed. Can't wait to have another opportunity to wear it.Dress for grandsons weddingDidn't like the fit. Was very uncomfortable and should have a zipper for easy on and off.This looked beautiful and felt comfortable. Had to return it because the color was more of a blue gray and didn't go with wedding colors.Nothing special. Fabric looks a little like a Halloween costume.
