J Kara Women's Elegant V-Neck Beaded Party Dress - Perfect for Cocktail Parties, Weddings & Special Occasions

In my quest to find a dress for Formal Night on a cruise, I decided to check this out. First of all, all Jkara dresses have beautiful *hand-sewn* sequins on them.I ordered a size 10 which is my usual size for an evening gown. The length was fine as expected. I would wear shoes with a 2" heel.I am 5'6" and weigh about 159. I wear a 38D bra, so this dress was a bit snug in the bust area, but still wearable. The negative was that the sequins part of the dress just barely came down over my bust line, and looked like an "Empire" style gown. I believe the sequins on the *sides* is meant to come down to the waist. On me, the side-sequins came down about 3 inches *above* my waist. A size bigger would work better....a bit looser in the bust area, and come down lower towards the waist on the sides.I can't emphasize enough how *beautiful* this dress is. It is absolutely stunning. It makes quite a statement. It is formal, without being over done. The cut and style camouflage any issues with a tummy or thick waist. It is very well made. The chiffon is flowing and beautiful. It is fully lined.I recommend giving this beautiful gown serious consideration. ?I am so impressed with this dress. I bought it for my Mom to wear to our wedding in June 2023. The quality of the dress is wonderful, and though the size I got for her is larger than she needs we will have it altered to fit her exactly how she would like. The dress came on a hanger in an enclosed dress bag which was very impressive, and extra beads were included! I would totally recommend this dress to all!This dress is beautiful! It hangs nicely and looks and feels like a high quality dress! The light green color is very nice. The picture shows what I would call short sleeves and the description says cap sleeves. I ordered this hoping for the sleeves in the picture, but the dress has shorter cap sleeves. I would rather that it had a zipper but considering it would probably only go on and off once the lack of a zipper would have been okay. I have tried on numerous mother of the bride dresses and this is my favorite. Unfortunately I will be returning this dress only because of the sleeve length. If I could have found a matching shrug/bolero, this would have been a keeper!It is made larger than measurements displayed for the size but well made dress however it has a wierd smell I hope it airs out.I like it and will use for a wedding.I ordered up a size and still the cap sleeves are tight and bust is tight. Pretty dress and I wish it fit, but I have to return it.I ordered the dress for a wedding and wasn’t sure what to expect, but it is fantastic! Plenty roomy, and comfortable. Nicely made.Size 10 petite was a perfect fit for my 5 foot 4 inch 130 pound frame. I have large breasts which has been a lifelong problem trying to find a dress that doesn’t fit a sack or make me look ridiculously top heavy. There is no zipper but the dress easily slid over my head and onto my body. The charcoal color is gorgeous. I wish the sequins on the bodice didn’t reflect so my light which made it look a little cheesy. I tried the dress on and wanted to keep it so bad. I waited until the last minute to sadly return it because it just wasn’t going to work for me. I hope I don’t regret it.Loved the dress but was two sizes too small and no returns, £180 pounds wasted so won't use the company again.Very well made, no loose or missing beads. I ordered a 14P but was sent a 10P, but funnily enough it fits perfectly. Perfect for formal night on a cruise.Very nice for mother of the bride dress, fits good, needed minor alterations due to me being short (5 feet).Very comfy!!!!WAY better then expected from ordering a dress online!I do recommend if you want something classy/fancy and comfy!This is a beautiful dress:) It is true to size and falls elegantly ( hiding all the bad bits!!) I'm 5'9" and ordered my usual size 16 and it was perfect :) I don't even need to hem it!!
